I have posted the Aussie petrol price in the other thread mentioned but today I thought I would mention that I filled up my Ute (pickup) this morning with LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas (similar to natural gas) which they pull out of the ground here in OZ).

Cost was A$0.499/litre. That equates to US$1.46/US gallon. The draw back is, it does not produce as much power and uses about 30% more than petrol.

okay after the first week... the results only including the current posts are the following:

87-90 octane:

lowest - $1.46/gal in australia (inquiring further b/c this may be less than 87 octane if not it won't be beat) otherwise, my new $2.60/gal in Cedar Rapids, IA is the new low...

highest - $3.09/gal in Long Island, NY

93 (premium for SRT-8's):

lowest - $2.88/gal in Orlando/St. Cloud, FL

highest - $3.49/gal in San Jose, CA

We had some high posts like $5.35 in Switz, but need to know what grade fuel we talking here... So, if posting, please include the grade as well... thank u to those who participated and thx in advance to those who continue to do so...
