Stan...

Here's my (pre-ban) 'Bushmaster' XM15-E2S AK 'Shorty' w/ AK74 muzzle break, which has a few add'l attachments, as well as an 'Aimpoint' sight system...which we're no longer able to purchase here in CA after the assault weapons ban of a few years ago. Unfortunately, due to the ban, we're also not allowed to resell these types of specially licensed weapons, and upon death, it must either be resold to a specially licensed FFL dealer or relinquished to law enforcement...who will no doubt then utilize it as a departmental 'special duty' weapon. If sold to a specially licensed FFL dealer, the proceeds will then become part of my estate...no adult family member is able to inherit it.

Here's a link to a similar used one (not the 'Shorty') from a reputable dealer...

and another link with several different models...

I used to use these folks as a resource guide when I was an FFL dealer myself. I also found many great deals within their Buy/Sell ads...

Funny, I'm also thinking about an AR-15...I'm really liking the Rock River Arms Elite CAR A4 with a free float tube.
