Question for Virginia CCWers

If I get a non-resident CCW for Virginia, does anybody know if that will have reciprocity in NC? I know the resident VA CCW does, but how about the non-resident?
Thanks,
Richard

I know, it's a good site, but it still leaves me unclear if NC has reciprocity with just VA resident permits or all VA permits. I'll read it again.

Richard...

I would just call Virginia's/North Carolina's Dept of Justice - Firearms Division and ask them with regard to clarifying their CCW reciprocity laws for you, and then obtain pertinent copies 'in writing'...just to CYA.

I put an e-mail in to them since I don't really have the time to deal with calling them during their hours.

In the meantime, what do you guys think of the HK USP tactical .45? I don't care for 1911's (I thought I did, and was willing to spend good money on something like an STI targetmaster), but then when I held them I realized I just don't like a 1911 design. The USP tactical is a gun that I like when I hold it, but I'm wondering how much I'll like it when I shoot it.

Well, I just noticed that in the text part where it tells you about reciprocity, packing.org says non-resident VA permit has reciprocity in NC. Now I just have to wait 6 months to be 21.
