In 1989, I sold my '72 worked 340 Demon (375 HP cragars, etc) to my mechanic who took care of it for me all the years I had it.

He went into the Army and sold it to the guy next door six months later, who promptly head-oned it into a tree and totalled it.

I am still sick after almost 20 years.

Wish I had her back (Also wish my 2 sons were still that little 29 and 32 today)

In any event, good luck with your next purchase. Vette is really a beauty.

Chas

I need the garage space and she's earned enough for me to pay off the SRT-8.
Great car!, I had a 1974, looked the same with the same engine, only the car was white, I really don't miss it because I went through 3 engines and a lot of trouble.

That is a suck wad tragedy!! It made the pit of my stomach kind of fall a bit as I put myself in your shoes. Sorry…I’m sure it was painful. I guess I’m glad I’m ignorant to where my previous cars have ended up.

She was a beauty….thanks for sharing.
