If I were in the market for an under $30k 2 seater road rocket, I'd look into an early BMW M Roadster. They have some engine issues and rear suspension issues, but you can find a good one if you know what to look for. Since these are often used as weekend cars you can usually find them with low mileage. Same with a Boxster of Boxster S

That's a good point and a great car! My friend's brother has one. The only thing is that I want a car that lived up to my truck. By that I mean, 0 miles with a 7 year warranty that I don't have to worry about for at least 7 years.

Long gone are my days of dealing with breaking used cars. I dealt with that the fist half of my driving life and reliability above all is important to me. That's the reason I buy new. I'm not saying new cars won't have issues but dropping it off at the dealership is as far as I'm going.
