Question Do You Have What It Takes?

I stumbled on this test a few days ago called "Do you have what it takes to become a citizen?", so I thought I'd give it a go. I scored 70% and I'm sure if I took it again I'd ace it. I figure that's not too bad for a non citizen, non resident or alien as you call it.

Now I'm wondering what kind of scores you Americans would have in your own country, not that you'd have to worry about getting kicked out or anything...haha. It also fits with your upcoming Independance Day only a few days away. See I knew that one too!!!

TAKE THE TEST

You answered 100% of questions correctly. Here's your rating:

0-20%: Maybe you're still thinking too much about the Old Country -- and that's where you should probably be.

25-40%: Mmmm. Do you really want to be a citizen? This kind of performance isn't going to impress those nice immigration folks.

45-60%: Not too bad, but you really need to break out the civics books again -- word is, the INS is looking for an 80 percent score.

65-80%: Hey, you may make a good citizen yet! Look at your wrong answers and a little revision should do the trick.

85-100%: Welcome to the United States! (And, truth be told, you know more about this great land than most Americans.)

I would have been shot if I would have missed a single question. I have my reasons. Ooooh the mystery and intrige

You answered 95% of questions correctly. Here's your rating:

What I got wrong>
8. Which of the following amendments to the Constitution does NOT address or guarantee voting rights?

24th Amendment is not correct.
7th Amendment

haha, but I had to take the exam to become an American citizen! guess I haven't forgotten what I studied. But believe me, the oral exam was a lot easier than this. Two giveaway questions usually are: who's your state's governor? who's your senator? anyone who fails the ten questions is well...you know like Red says on the 70's Show
The INS examiners are very polite, and smile a lot.
Unlike the dour, curt security guards at the door, most of them immigrants themselves. Looking down on their fellow Latinos, Asians or whatever. Like the fly on the horse's tail, they think they are the horse.
