No Grenada didn't turn it down, and we did eventually give it (I noted that in my OP I think). It's just funny to me that the USA takes longer to help AMERICANS in a country that we invaded in 1983 (which makes us at least a little bit responsible for it - all we did was basically flex some muscle and put up a picture of Reagan in the paid for by Castro airport) than Venezuala.

Oh, and Rambit, finding the hot woman is sooooo much easier in the 911 that replaced the SRT
I've got time for all things: reading, work, driving, shooting, photography, working on cars, what have you...it's all in those XLR8's which have given me the scratches.

Jeez Richard, after all I typed as soon as I opened my beady little eyes just to taunt you, is that the best you can do?...haha. All those things are great, BUT along with that stupid reading you do, how many of them can you do well???

Richard!!!!! How are you?!?!!? Back for some abuse, I see?

1) I refuse to debate Grenada with someone who had to read about it in a history book, rather than watch it on TV and read it in the daily newspapers at the time.

2) Did daddy buy a 911? As an owner of a 911 AND an SRT-8, I can assure you that "hot women" look at you in either car, and know it's daddy's car, and laugh as soon as you're out of earshot.

Anyway - thanks for playing!

Ah the good ol' days of JMatt firing up the barbeque to roast Richard’s arse. Doesn’t get any better than that!

If you are one of the lucky people who are benefiting from the pillaging of the land owners or nationalizing of the major industries, life has never been better. If you are on the other end it doesn't seem so fair. It's interesting that somehow all who are not dirt poor, must have acheived their economic strenght through some shady, evil or illegal dealings. Chavez has encouraged and formented class warfare. He is criminalizing excellence and success. When the government makes the sucessful, educated professionals "the problem", all is lost in my opinion. Those that can, leave. What remains is a mediocre society ill equiped to fill the voids. He wants to parcel (take, not buy) all the large farms and give them to poor people. Since when does being poor mean you know how to farm comercially? An expert on raising animals comercially? When you try to redistribute wealth you make everyone poor. Next thing you know it will be illegal to have more than one home. Sounds like buying votes to me.
Castro had support because Batista was so corrupt. Chavez had support because the former government was corrupt as well. After acheiving power it was no longer necessary to pretend.
From what I saw of Chavez when he visited P.R., he is a drunkard, propositions any female with 2 legs, even married ones in front of their husbands and is a charismatic deceiver.
Hugo Chavez nationalized the oil industry and I would park my car before I would buy his gas. If you believe he is improving the lives of his people perhaps you should speak to a few of them. A paper supports whatever is put on it and history is written by the winner. Time will reveal his ambitions. So far I think my vision is 20/20.

Never better JMatt. On point one, so I guess any non-primary source info on the Civil War is bunk too, since those people couldn't have lived through it?

On point two: yeah that happened a long while ago. Didn't like the SRT8 all that much after the first weeks of ownership and sold it for what he paid for it and got a 911. Seriously though JMatt, you say "As the owner of a 911 AND an SRT-8"...are you trying to impress me or are you just trying to say you have driven both? In my short SRT experience there was only one type of girl who was impressed by it, and that wasn't my type. I'm not the type who makes like it's his car btw, I just like to drive the 911...I'm hoping you understood I was just kidding around with Rambit. Believe me, when people ask me about it I'm the first to note that it's my dad's car.

Roast my arse? I can't tell if that's tongue in cheek or not. I get the feeling many people think that's what goes on, but those people just don't get it. Rambit gets it, I'm pretty sure NR gets it, and I think JMatt gets it, but I think some other people don't. It's like this: start in the morning and get the job done, take care of business, then get on the forums and have some fun (to the tune of Joe Walsh's All Night Long).
