Great news. Now who had to spoil the wet dream we had going on in here by asking if it (the 6.4 hemi part) was factual or not. (lawfive fantasy extraordinaire) Excellent job!! That was like you’re in the middle of the hottest dream going on when all of a sudden the loudest nastiest alarm clock wakes you the hell up instantly. VVV the alarm clock. j/k

Well I better prepare for my next year long wait…………where did I put that book on “How to be Patient”

With a high volume produced model like the 300, there is an ass for every seat. But not a lower/limited production car like the Challenger will be.

Only a few select ASSES will have the oppourtunity to own and drive a Challenger. Why would they want a V6 or a fuel efficient MDS V8 engine with a manual shift?

Ya know...I'm gonna get flamed for this but... Who cares? I followed the whole Challenger bru-ha-ha when it first got announced at NAIAS in January and all the subsequent announcements put out by DCX. I photochopped the original colors onto the car and don't get me wrong, the Challenger in black looks baaaaaaadaaaasssss. But I got disgusted when DCX said they *still* weren't sure if they were gonna build it, even after all the feedback they got and if they did, they weren't going to price it comparable to the Mustang and only offer it in one model, the 6.1 v8. Which means it's gonna be another rich person's toy. Now granted, some of that info has changed but not the fact that DCX shot itself in the foot.

It was then that it occured to me that I could spend $35,000+ on a Challenger and have the nice wrapper with a nice engine, or I could spend that amount of money, still get my v8, still have the nice wrapper, but have some luxury inside for my hard-earned cash. I *seriously* doubt the Challenger will have as nice an interior as the 300.

That's why it's the 300c all the way, baby. This XMas (or next, depends on if I want to play it sensible or if I want to pay for it in the long run) it's gonna be a happy, happy day.
