SOOOOOOO Sorry to hear that bro!! I know how you feel. I was a work 2 weeks ago and my wife called me around 9am and she was crying. She told me that she is taking the dog to the hospital. I freaked and said what happened!! She told me that he was having a seizure, I FREAKED!! I was 1 hour away from home, so I could'nt do anythig. She went to the hospital and they did some test's. The vet said he is o.k. and to monitor him. They charged us 600 canadian, I can't complain he is a part of our family. I told my wife WOW!!! I could of bought some mods for the car. LOL!! Hang in there bro. Here is a pic of him, CARLITO.

Herbs! Damn sorry to read your beautiful, but hella large, dog is ill. I know he is very special to you. I hope he is ok…..they do become a special member of the family. Then the vets charge an arm and a leg. Just like a child that is ill and the doctor/hospital bills mount you’re going to pay them for sure. Hope to hear from you that he is ok and I’ll send my thoughts east for a quick recovery!

BTW....how is the car going with Wes? Did I miss that you got it yet?

herb,
good thoughts to your dog and to your family my friend...
my rottweiler who was 155 is down to 133 after seeing the vet about 3 weeks ago and being diagnosed with inoperable bone cancer...
after finding a bumb on his rib cage when washing and 4 days later it is the size of a cantelope...
so off to the vet for the above verdict...
same situation as my last Rott...
bone cancer that eats holes in the bone and they litterally fall apart...
so we said lets see how he does and if he wants to fight we are with him...
if he wants to throw it in...
fine...
either way it's up to you (the dog)...
so he kinda moped around for 3 days and then a couple of well timed biskets...
and a nice steak...
and he is still alive and kicking and honestly doing pretty well...

so that is my story to you for hope at the end of the tunnel so to speak...

I hope everything turns out good. I know how you feel and it can be extremely hard on you. Don't get into the whole money thing right now, you're pet is a family member and money is just that, money. Try to concentrate on your dog right now and don't let the other things bother you.

Best of luck.

Moose.
