I've "heard" bearshare.com is the one you want..
If you have a cd burner on your PC you should have the burning program..

Yes, I do have burning abilities and am very familiar with data disks from the office, etc...just wasn't sure if there is some kind of 'trick' to audio cd's and thie MP3 format.

Thanks!

Audio tracks need to bo "ripped" into the MP3 format. You need the "Ripping" capabilities in whatever burner software you use. You can fit over 150 songs (depending on length of song) in this format on 1 disc. You can save them ripped on your hard drive in the MP3 format and then coppy them in whatever order, file configuration etc you like to burn them on to the disc. I dont have sirrius so I made up 1 disc for rock, 1 country, 1 classical, 1 jazz, 1 blues and I leave one slot open for whatever store bought cd I want to play. It works for me.

The best peer to peer music sharing application is soulseek. Download it here

For legal mp3 downloads I would recommend Apple's iTunes

On your windows media player select burn. On the top of right hand box you will see a picture of a cd and the selected drive, with a pull down tab, hit the pull down tab and select Data CD as opposed to audio CD and then select the songs you wish to burn. (probably over 150 songs on a regular CD, the media player will tell you when the CD is full.) It takes a lot longer to burn a mp3 disc but well worth it. Like Blue said, I would also suggest making one CD all rock, the next all blues, another country, whatever you like to listen to, but with 6 discs you will have around 1000 songs in the rack and its nice to be able to select whatever genre suites the mood rather than having them scattered all over the place. I use mp3 University for downloads, (supposedly legal) low price for lifetime membership and have never failed to find what I was searching for. Hope this helps you.
