Couple of good trivia facts for Americans & Canadians

A dime has 118 ridges around the edge.

All 50 states are listed across the top of the Lincoln Memorial on the back of the $5 bill.

If you are an average American, in your whole life, you will spend an average of 6 months waiting at red lights.

On a Canadian two dollar bill, the flag flying over the Parliament building is an American flag.

I don't disagree with you on the Cdn 2 dollar bill, but we no longer have a bill it is now a 2 doller coin which we call a Toonie, our 1 dollar coin is called a Loonie because it has a Loon on it. Trivia at it's worst!!!!!!

The area of the base of the Great Pyramid divided by twice it's height equals pi to 6 digits.

Mikeyjohn, whoops, apologies about that misinformation. I should make the effort to learn more about Canada.

In OZ we went to $1 coins many years back, (too long to remember) and the $2 coins a few years later.

That's OK, I have a couple of the bills at home and I'll give them a look. I really don't think the Parliament buildings were on the 2 dollar bill, but were on the 1 dollar bill but my mind is going but then again I had a hard time keeping those bills in my pocket, so what do I know.

I should also know a little more about OZ than I do, but I don't. I have relatives in Perth but they don't want to return e-mails so their loss not mine.
