While we're on the subject, our rules require avatars to be work safe so yours was removed... please read that section of the rules before you replace it.

Sorry rsmeanie... I'm with Linda on this also. Off topic is one thing. "Off color" is totally another.

I've had some public discussion on another start-up LX board which created an "Adult" forum, later renamed "After Dark" (when I protested) - just to try to generate more "traffic." My position is the kind of traffic such a forum would garner is uneeded on a car club site. At least that forum on that site is password protected, but IMHO totally unecessary for a real "car enthusiast" site.

Besides there still seems to be plenty of things posted here which are on the "racy" side, and could - maybe should - be moderated a bit more.

I never noticed either the pics or the avatar in the past, so I can't comment on that. If it was a penis then I agree it should not have been posted here. Some boards may allow that, but rules are rules. I'm no angel either, but we all have to know where to draw the line.

The problem I have with this post is that he made "PUBLIC" a "PRIVATE MESSAGE", intended for his eyes only. Kinda takes the private out of private. I don't think a private message should EVER be posted for all to see, regardless of the circumstance just because our feelings are hurt.

EDIT: What I'm trying to say is I look at it as an invasion of privacy.
