Thumbs up I want to sell stuff.

LOL.

Ya know, I feel this is a really.. off topic question to ask, so I'll ask it anyway, it's just on my mind and well, this is the first place I thought of to ask it.

We've been wanting to well, sell things for a while - some kinda online store (that'd be nice), and I know, it's really.. to be completely honest, if you go looking around for wholesellers, you find a bunch of sponsored results about some crap *** thing (kinda like LTD commodities or *GASP* people who buy things at costco and then sell them for tiny profit) XD

I guess what I'm asking is, how do you find the REAL sources? Not some crap *** middle-man sorta outfit that gives you mediocre products to sell on ebay like the other 502923475 people that bought from them?

Boy I'm really setting myself up for a butt kicking huh. Well, if it makes ya feel better, I wouldn't actually mind feeding your mod addictions.

Really I feel like just setting up a damn random store and selling.. random stuff.. like candy.. and CAIs.

Wouldn't have a clue on what to sell, but Kudos for wanting to start your own business! Nothing like working for yourself.

I wouldn't think that the internet would be the best place to find a wholesaler, but at a minimum I'd suggest you do the initial contact in person at whatever seller you decide on. See their facility to make sure you aren't buying from the guy's garage directly across the street from your house.

Good luck! many here that will have a tip or two, i am sure.

Definite kudos on the entrepreneurial spirit. You do have to be careful though as there are plenty of people out there willing to take your money to show you “how they did it”. Like all those midnight infomercials on TV. Now I do have some friends that sell all sorts of stuff on eBay and make a nice tidy sum from it. My brother sells all sorts of stuff on eBay and made enough money to build an addition to his home. I don’t know if that is what you’re looking for or not, but it might be a starting place. I would definitely stay away from places that want big money up front. Once you get going don't forget to treat your customers right, but at the same time don't give away the store. Sales can be very profitable if you’re doing it right. I applaud you for your efforts and wish you luck.

hey ootlink, i think i can help u out. just send me $500 via paypal and ill show u how i sell on ebay. lol, just pulling your leg!

but seriously, i have not had a job since 2001, which was blockbuster video. being a entreprenuer is soooooo much better! i dont have to talk to a single person all day, just emails.

a great place to start is www.tradekey.com or alibaba.com. all you have to do is type in what your looking for and suppliers all across the world will pop-up. im taking a little vacation right now(perks of self-employment) but isell parts for those ricer cars. im so glad they keep putting out those fast n furious movies, they keep sales rising.

i guess im doing pretty good, im 26 with a 05 300c HEMI. i even showed my dad how to sell on ebay and he said its the best thing he has ever seen!

check out tradekey.com....i hope this helps!!!

also, check for some reliable dropshippers. this is what im trying to do now. with dropshipping, u do not have to carry a single piece of inventory! u list the item, the customers pays via paypal, u send the money to the supplier, and the supplier ships the customer the product. being a CEO is awesome!

There is nothing better than working for yourself. I don't know what you are really trying to do here, but I think you have the right spirit. Do what is burning in your heart and somehow you WILL succeed. You might fail a few times as I have, but that makes you learn and change your process.

Good luck!!!

I wonder if i can do this.... I am currently at college majoring in business administration and management...... Do you think i can do something like this at school? I mean my days are pretty much free all day. This would be awesome... How would i go about doing it where they purchase it off ebay and send me the money which i then send to the supplier and get a profit?

Sure, it takes about 1-2 hours per day to maintain your business. go to tradekey.com and type in "dropshipper" or "dropship"..i have been looking for cell phone dropshippers and received a few replies within the last 2 days..i have found motorola v3i phones for $73/shipped and motorola v3i D&G GOLD edition for $133-which sells on ebay for $350..i have also found ipod nano's in 2gb.4gb,8gb..the 2gb is $75/shipped..4gb is $100/shipped..8gb is $130/shipped w/box factory sealed...
i typed in "mobile phone dropship" on tradekey.com and the suppliers came right up...hope this helps you all
it is very easy to make at least $100 per day..
