Rambit... take a deep breath. That's it. Now another. Give Emma a good hug and let her lick your face for a while.

Think of how much fun it is to drive your beast, and lay threads here with your friends. And soon the few posts and internetatudes which plague you at the moment will be as the distant thunder of a storm that has passed... and all you'll have is the refreshing watering that every storm, small or large, brings. Use the ignore button as appropriate... but stick around!

It’s either the lack of birthdays in the members profile area, lack of Aussie birthdays, members that are using the invisible status and not posting, spammers, sour tuna, edgy moods of "other(s)", other unmentionable items for a public forum.

Regardless, relax, go off line for awhile and do something else that you enjoy doing, maybe along the lines of what GT suggested.
Seriously, we’re here for you Rambit.

Is it because 7-11 is dropping Citgo as its gasoline supplier? Props to 7-11!

I don’t know if this has anything to do with it or not, but I was checking on how Rambit has been looking up people’s birthdays through their profile. From what I’ve seen it involves a tremendous amount of work. There are 274 pages of 8197 members to plow through. You have to click on each and every profile to see if they’ve filled it in. So I can only imagine the number of hours Rambit has been working on obtaining birthday information on people.

Maybe you think it’s a waste of time for Rambit to be working on something like this. I believe that we all like a little special recognition on that day the good lord saw fit to let us be born. It’s always nice to be remembered in a small way. We all share a love of our cars, but birthdays bring it all home and make us feel warm and fuzzy. In my opinion you must have a comfortable balance between warm fuzzies and hard core car information. Just like meet & greets bring out the warm fuzzys so do birthdays.
Again, I am only guessing, but I do respect what Rambit has been attempting to do and perhaps the rest of you that are offering your support may want to help out in his monumental task. The last time I checked I don’t think he was even half way done. So encourage members to either register in his thread or fill in their profiles.
