What do you do for a living at age 18 where you can afford a car payment on a 38k car?

This thread is funny. In what states are 14 year olds allowed to drive? With the rare exception I am sure 95% of the cars were purchased by a parent or c0-financed by a parent. I wish my parents had done that for me. What impresses me more is that at this young age, you guys prefer a mid-size sedan rather than a sports car or suped up ricer car. Good luck and enjoy.

Well I just saw that they were 14. I guess my mind wasn't working to tell me that 14 year olds can't really drive yet. LOL.

As for the thing about us wanting sedans than sports cars. Well I can't speak for others, but I personally want a comfortable ride over a fast car. Because:

1) I've gotten over driving for fun. I don't like driving most of the time when I don't have to. So when I am driving, I want something relaxing. With a sports, changing gears gets annoying in traffic.

2) I say that about gears because I am driving a manual currently. My dad has a Saturn Vue with manual trans. Its fun to rev and stuff even though its a V4. But changing gears is way too annoying.

3) 300 looks freaking awesome. When this car was first being sold and I saw it on their website, my jaw hit the floor. I did look at lot like a Bentley to me. Thats my favorite part, that this car turns heads. Its not like every other boring as hell cars from all the companies nowadays.

29 here

Damn, I thought I might be one of the youngest to own a 300C. As of today, I am 29 and I own a brilliant black 300C. I bought it 3 weeks ago, paid cash for it. I figured I would be one of the youngest people to have one. I guess not. Maybe I am one of the youngest people to pay cash for one? Anyway, I'm proud to own the car. It's beautiful and it seems like people stare at it whereever they go.

Take care,
