Finally after 15 years of sitting in a garage, my fiancée’s father gave her his 1973 Corvette Stingray. We have it in the restoration shop already. We are doing a full restore. Just got the parts ordered for the suspension work. The engine is the 350 bored out 61 over, I think that’s what her dad said. This means 350HP for 350ci. HEMEE I told you before when you got your Vette that my girl really loves Corvette's and to get this one is a dream come true. I will have pics as the next 2 months unfold, taking you from fresh out the garage to back on the street. HEMEE I tried to find the thread you started about your Vette and bring it back up, but no luck. When she graduates from medical school and complete's residency she wants a ZO6

, at least I have some time before then to get the money up.

Hey GEN XER, that is so cool, what a great Dad and lucky daughter!!

I didn't really post much about my Vette, but there are quite a few threads in Zoomers forum about it... this one links to a few of them, and there are also a few pics of my C6 and my C5 in my photo gallery.

I can't wait to see your project updates, you know I love that stuff!
You better be extra-specially good to her, maybe she'll toss ya the keys now and then

Wow she looks in rough shape, but I'm sure the restorers can get her back to beautiful.

I see you were able to post some pictures….well done!! Look forward to seeing some of the improvement pictures!

That's quite an undertaking. I'd make sure it's a desirable enough combo to make restoring her worth it. I know, who am I to say anything, when you are in love...
