Our Moose is a real Moose. Why do you think he drives a 300C SRT8? As the pictures show, he'd never get comfortable in that little chevy . . .

That was my first horrified thought too.

Right on TruthKid

marlinspike, not exactly correct on this one. Roos do get stunned by headlights but the bigger issue is their ability to bound a large distance so they seemingly come out of nowhere in a blink of an eye.

almost hit a wombat a couple of months ago driving up the mountain to a ski resort in the middle of the night (wasn't the smartest thing to do) could have been absolutely disastrous, as they're like 40-80kgs.

oh and i'm thankful it wasn't Moose's car that got hit. what would be ironic is if Moose had hit a moose while running on his juice.

Don't know about eating kangaroos, but moose is VERY popular. People eat all kinds of game including porcupine, beaver, bear. You name it, someone's eaten it. Some people here eat deer & moose meat exclusively during the winter after the hunting season is over. That is providing they got lucky. The thing you have to worry about moose during rutting season is that they'll charge at you and can be very aggressive.

The moose would have had to be on the loose for Moose to have hit the moose while running on his juice.

oh the Aussies here eat Kangaroo. you can even get kangaroo sausages called kanga bangers (as in bangers and mash from england). i believe it is the only national animal in the world that is legalised to eat. we have so many of them, farmers actually cull them to stop them destroying crops. .

they're not too bad, taste like chicken but alittle more tough.

Why is it that everything tastes like chicken?...haha. That's what they say about porcupine.

I didn't know kangaroos were such a problem there, but I seem to recall rabbits are considered a real pest.

yep. rabbits are a real pest here too. i used to play rugby back in highschool and the field we trained on was just full of rabbit holes, one wrong move and you sprang an ankle or something in those.

same as cane toads but that's limited to up north in queensland.

OUCH! That woman is lucky to be alive after that collision. Killing the driver or seriously injuring the driver often times happens. Automobiles and large mobile animals can never be a very good mix no matter what continent you live on.
So where is Spittin Game? I'm sure in Aussie land he could pick up a McRoo Sandwich at the local McDonalds.

I too was relieved that it wasn't AZ Moose involved in an accident.
