Armed and Famous - Muncie, Indiana

I hate to say it... but Muncie Indiana is where I grew up. My mom still works at the hosptial there. That show sucks so bad but it's cool to watch and see stuff from my home town (Haven't lived there since 2000... 4 years in the Marines and the last 2 1/2 in VA). I about fell off my couch when I saw them eating at the sunshine cafe.

My best friend and my cousin used to be partners on the Muncie Police Dept. My cousin has transferred to Yorktown and my buddy was days away from going to the State Trooper Academy before he unfortunately went blind in one eye.

Other famous people from Muncie include Jim Davis, the creator of Garfield and Bob Ross... the painter with the fro from tv that painted "happy little trees". Bob was actually my grandmas best friend (she worked at that tv station) and used to buy me ice cream when I was a little kid... totally awesome guy. As nice in person as he seemed on TV.

Oh well, if you get a chance check it out. It's cheesy as all hell but you can see my hick hometown, lol.

You forgot David Letterman lived in the vicinity and graduated from Ball State.
I’ve not checked that show out yet as I’ve been too busy with this message board for much TV watching. I had a ton of friends that went to BSU. My favorite Aunt and Uncle are graduates as well and I’m distantly related to the Ball family. (don’t you just love the name.)

hahaha, yeah the Ball Family used to run the town, then they moved out. One of my high school buddies used to have Letterman's old dorm room. Everyone pretty much goes to BSU from around there.

Oh, also the movie Hoosiers was based off the State Championship game between Milan and Muncie Central. They still play every once in a while and it's usually shown on espn2.

I checked out the show last night. But not many reality shows make it these days. The networks are just throwing up reality shows to cram down your throats. I'm going back to my CSI's, Overhauling, American Chopper, American Hot Rod, Biker Build off.

The Cohen Bro's make some of the best movies. You gotta be a little odd to enjoy them, lol.

Barton Fink (the only Cohen movie I didn't like)
Raising Arizona (Cage and Hunter are great in the film)
Fargo (Macy and Bushemi are so criminal)
Big Lebowski (Bridges and Goodman are hilarious)
O Brother (Clooney, who knew he could sing)

Hudsucker Proxy (Newman was great)
I got an Idea..........o.
