Guess what I found???

Hey guys. So tonight I was at IHOP with some buddies and I went out to my car to leave and found $20! Sweet! Then on the way home I came around a corner in my housing development and thought I saw a wallet. (Remember this was at about 11:00pm. PITCH DARK.) Anyways, I continued to drive and thought, "Just go back to be sure." So I did, and it ended up being a wallet! Credit cards, cash, tons of personal stuff. Looks like I can afford a body kit now! Just kidding . I just mapquested his address and will give it to him tomorrow. I bet he'll be very pleased to see it was in good hands.

You know, you watch the news day after day, or hear someone's latest tale of woe, or even read something discouraging on the forums that just makes you shake your head... and then, every once in awhile, a story like this sneaks in, restores your faith in your fellow man, warms your heart, and makes you smile.

Hey Chip... THANKS!

Thumbs up :-)

Hey Chip am sure the wallet's owner will be extremely happy to get his wallet back ... perhaps you'll get 10% of whatever in that wallet and then you can get the body kit that you wanted

You should be proud to be one of the few good people who would do such a good thing

$20 on the ground, with no one in sight, is fair game. But a loaded wallet....you did the right thing and we are all proud of you. You have to put yourself in the persons place who lost the wallet. Good show. If I ever lost a wallet and it was returned. That person would have a great night on the town, on me.

You did the right thing, good job, you'll make that guys year.

I've found 3 cellphones over the past couple of years, I've always dialed some numbers on it and found out who it was so I could return it. People are extremely pleased to get back something they though was lost forever and a pain the ass to replace.

3 Cheers for Chip!!!

Chip,
Bless you for your honesty and helpfulness! Someone is going to totally appreciate your integrity today!

Make sure you are extremely careful on our SJV roads if you venture out this morning! I don't know how other folks put up with this type of freezing weather throughout the winter. It's 25 degrees F at the moment and my water well is still locked up.

Thanks for your upbeat story!
