I think it would have been better if the ladies started throwing their panties toward the guys who left in the military vehicle. That would crank it up a notch.

To the best of my knowledge the girls are running toward the club where the officer said they are going to be tonight. Panties throwing party may continue there.

The key part of the commerial is that this is a contract army as opposed to the the regular military draft. Guys do not have to go back to barracks and they are available for parting at night!

I was on guard duty for the Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters shorty after Sept 11th. The Army had switched to the berets a few months prior. While on duty we still had to salute officers even though we were armed. This portly Army Major walked up and saluted him and said "Good afternoon Sir." When he went to return the salute, the jackass poked himself right in the eye and almost tripped up the stairs to the door I was standing at. It took every ounce of discipline not to laugh at him. Ahhh those were the days. lol.



By the way, if you join the Marines all those girls look like Scarlet Johannsen and you don't have to wear the beret
