3rd Kid Coming - Help.

My third son is due in October (yikes). This obviously causes some issues given we have a CSRT and a MB ML55. I need recommendations from those of you with big families on what to do.

My options are:

Sell the SRT and get a big SUV, Escalade ESV Or Yukon XL Denali. (Wife won't give up her car)

or

Buy a used '02-'04 Suburban or Yukon XL and use it as a third car for family trips. (leaning this way)

Note: Minivans are not on the table.
PS: All boys will be 4 and under.

All opinions or suggestions welcome.

See if you can talk your wife into upgrading her car. The MB GL450 is a nice car that both of you won't mind driving. Just my opinion!!

This is the one I pick 300CUL8R:

Buy a used '02-'04 Suburban or Yukon XL and use it as a third car for family trips.

That way you can have it all by just adding on...
You add a baby, you add a car....

Even though I don't have a big family if this is an option, and you have plenty of parking, and you can still keep your srt..why not.?
Congrats on your new baby who is on his way!

How about the Jeep GC SRT8?

The new jeep is a little larger inside and is veeeeeeeeeery quick!

I thought of that but with the third row in there is very little cargo room for bags/stroller etc. Probably have to stick with an extra large SUV.

Thought of that too. No third row and back seat isn't much bigger than the ML.

Yukon XL is the way to go. I have an '03 and that is what we take on all family outings when I'm driving... unless it's just around town, then we go in the SRT8. I tried to get my wife to give up her minivan and drive the Yukon. She wouldn't do it. And to quote her: "it drives nice, it just parks like sh!t"!

Very smooth ride, nice leather interior, rear captains chairs, rear video, etc. Everyone feels comfortable cruising in it. Rear cargo area is much better in the XL version.

Oh, by the way, I'm selling it to get her a new mini van.
