To all you married folk....

My fiancee has put me in charge of planning the honeymoon for our upcoming wedding. We are getting married March 15, 2008, so it's going to have to be sometime around then. The only thing is, I don't know where to go. I've thought about a cruise, but that seems like the obvious choice. What I want to know is, what are some other good places to go for a honeymoon? I've thought about staying stateside, I'm just not sure of a nice place. I'm just looking for info on some good places and personal experience. Thanks in advance for any input.

Depending on how much you want to spend, Sedona, AZ is a great place. Gorgeous views (very romantic), and enough spas, shops, etc. to keep you busy and your credit cards maxed out. If I were doing a stateside honeymoon, that'd be my top pick.

Although I have never been to this resort, I have been to several Caribbean resorts and one in Puerto Vallarta. I highly recommend them. They are fun, beautiful, and fairly trouble free. The service is excellent good and we have not been to any where the food was not fabulous. I like the all inclusive packages because they are very trouble free.

Sedona seems very nice, I'm going to run it by her to see what she thinks. As far as Vegas, we both want to go there at some point, but I'd have to think that'd be about as expensive as a nice trip to Hawaii.

Went to Costa Rica for my honeymoon. It was awesome!!! All inclusive resort - so we had all the ammenities we wanted/needed but the good thing about Costa Rica is its off the beaten path. No college kids whatsoever!!! No drunken beach bashes! etc.... PLENTY of stuff to do. March would be a great time.

We love the Cayman Islands as well. Its much pricier than Costa Rica though, but well worth the $$$$

Good luck and congrats!!

Another option if your into the romantic is Ireland. It's actually not terribly expensive to stay in B&B's, and while you'll get some rain mixed in with the sunshine, that just gives you a reason to snuggle around the fire

But it's also amazingly beautiful there -- some wonderful small towns in the western portion of the country.
