when they did that last year, all they effectively did was take money out of their already empty pockets. I didnt see one store in Orange County closed due to this "strike" or whatever....and to top it off, i didnt have nearly as much traffic to deal with on the way home....by all means, please push yourselves further into the abyss for all I care.

Another reason why I live in red states. Virigina is too close to DC though and sometimes that crap spills over (ask luke and eugene about me being trapped on the metro with a bunch of war protestors) but at least the gun laws are good here

I still got my jabs in... but it would've been much worse if those 2 weren't there.

I read this somewhere and always wanted to try it:
Step 1: approach the peace protestor and ask why he believes violence is not the answer.
Step 2: halfway through his explination, punch him in the face as hard as you can.
Step 3: when/if he gets up, ask him to continue.
Step 4: repeat steps 2 and 3 until the hippie fights back or is unconcious.

It's a win/win. If he hits you back, you proved him wrong. If he doesn't, then at least you got to beat up a hippie

I'm annoyed enough by border jumpers who bring their whole families here, live (mostly) free, and don't pay taxes - go driving around without insurance or a license, but then again..

What about all the free rides we give everyone else.. legitimately? What about the people that come here, and hate the country, and use it?

Illegals from Mexico, are almost like Native Americans that got mixed in with the Spanish during the time that they came to North America. They were already there (and here), to begin with - we came in, and screwed them over.

I'm not suggesting I agree with them, no not at all.

NOBODY should get a free ride into the US. Whether they do it because their country is getting screwed the F up (amnesty, IMHO is ***er than Richard Simmons), or because their country IS screwed up and they can't get any decent work.

Still, claiming to be "red" and taking pride in it is pretty anal. I have my ideas, but consider blind alignment with any political group especially stupid. Think about it, those people that call themselves "conservatives" go around making all sorts of crazy laws "IN THE NAME OF NATIONAL SECURITY!" that take liberties at our right to privacy and free speech (being liberal).
