Funny cop story

I parked illegally for a quick in and out just as a cop was exiting the buliding. He approached me and I said "I think I parked wrong I'll move the car" he said "no, does that have the hemi? I have'nt seen one of these up close, can I sit in it" he then began to discuss his Impala SS, he then thanked me for showing it to him. No warning, and the C stayed parked illegally.

Wink Pulled Over

Couple of days ago...driving thru a residential area here, doing 44 in a 35 zone I was pulled over by an officer going the opposite way that I was. He doubled back I could not beleive he was coming after me!. Well he was and he did pull me over. Have not had a ticket in some years.

The officer would not tell me how fast I was going, just that I was going too fast. Asked for my license and went to his car, came back with only my license in his hand....I was relieved. Gave me a warning and then proceeded to ask about the C. After a few minutes told me to slow down and let me go.

I was sweating! And happy to be on my way.

The old double back trick, hard not to speed in this thing. Consider a Valintine One, I also bought an anti laser front license plate cover though I did not put the plate on yet.

I was leaving a gas station and a cop comes flying in and sticks his hand out the window to stop me. I'm thinking oh crap here is a window tint ticket (too dark). I stop, he jumps out really fast and says "oh man, I been reading all about this car". I went on to show him the whole car. Their was a female cop in the passenger seat rolling her eyes. Then when he's leaving he says "ya know those radar detectors don't always work". It was pretty funny.

Was hoping the fine Trooper in Pennsylvania was stopping me to compliment my ride. My story has a sadder ending

I have been know to stop people just to ask questions about their car. I'll tell you a story from "the other side." I stopped this guy for speeding (radar) and after I got his info: I started to walk back to my motorcycle to issue the citation. The passenger in the right front seat asked me if there was anything they could say to get me not to give them a ticket. I told them that I have been a policeman for 35 years and have heard it all. However if they "could" tell me something I have never heard I would let them go. The passenger then said, "would you believe he is rushing me to the hospital, because I'm having a baby." I laughed and said I've never heard that one before. By the way the passenger was a guy. Yes I let them off with a warning

five years and 200,000 miles or so since I got a ticket and lord knows I have deserved one a time or two, so I guess it was my time. I have changed my game though in the C, that is not to be first, but to have highest fuel economy. Forces me to SLOW DOWN!
