You'll probably also find it's got a mid or rear-mount engine, which would give you some crazy centripital forces, as well as explaining why the car would rotate so freely about the front wheels.
You could probably get even a 300C to spin that fast, with enough weight in the boot and a canny driver behind the wheel. It'd take longer to 'spin up' and the greater total weight would make the whole thing considerably more unstable, but yeah, it's quite possible.
