interesting point. i see what you mean about the smoke, the quality is so poor tho i cant tell if that is dissipating like that because the car is whipping around so fast, or if it is actually sped up.

If it was sped up the applause at the end would sound mighty odd. Racing tires tend to smoke less than commercial ones, because they disintegrate instead of combusting in a burnout.

I doubt it. You'd likely see the transition, plus the camera shake would be exaggerated during the sped up portion, and it looks the same to me at the end as the beginning.
