Finding out property ownership?

IIRC someone once had a way to find out through the wonders of the internet where a person owns property. Do I RC? Is there a way to see if someone has land or cars in VA?

Living in Arizona, and working as a mortgage banker, you would check the county records to see if a given individual owns property. As far as car you would have to go to your local DMV to verify. DOnt know if this answers your questions or not.
