Yes, it does come down to personal styles and I'd listen to Jeff Beck before I'd listen to most of those guys. Except for Hendrix, and he's dead. But when I first listened to both, they were both alive.

Beck's a car guy too, so double points in my book!

If you liked Hendrix you should listen to Thomas Erak of Fall of Troy.. Not the same style of music but similar style in guitar (all over the place and complex riff's that sound amazing), That whole band is amazing if you ignore the vocals..
