5k in just over 2 years...

"WELCOME to 3CF from our West VIrginia LXs in the Mid-Ohio River Valley!"

Well that probably accounts for about half or more of my contributions to 300Cforums over the past couple years. Either that or...

Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday too few
Happy Birthday, God BLESS you!
Happy Birthday you knew...

That's gotta be another several percent.

Ok... so I'm not much of a gear head, but I have done a few mods and wrote about them. I have made a couple road trips and wrote about them. I have a beautiful grand daughter, and I've for sure written about her!

I have had a couple different LXs... first the '05 used 300C, then the Heritage Edition (and the Build Sequence thread - another several percent), and then traded the '05 300C for this killer MSRT8... all before DCX became that three-headed dog thing and dropped the Magnum/300C Touring. Grrrrr.

What I could write about that! Grrrrr again.

I've seen things blow up here, and settle down again. I've seen folks leave in a huff... and some, fortunately have returned. Regardless I have chosen to stay and will continue to try to make folks feel welcome, help in those few cases where I "may" know something, and refrain from revealing what a grease monkey I'm not!

I've enjoyed reading about the CRD, dreaming about the Challenger (although I doubt I will ever own another two door), and wishing I could make it to Australia and New Zealand as well as Switzerland and the Autobahn with an SRT8.

I've yet to join in on the fun of the SRT Driving Experience, but that will come within the next 6-8 months. And I've met just a few of the many great folks who frequent this place and make Meets and Greets and events like Spring Fling and the SE Shingdig the great events they are. One of these days I'll make one of those big gatherings (if the wifey lets me). LOL

Finally, I'd just like to say...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

May you all be blessed in this season of renewal and promise. I'm still having fun!

Major congratulations on reaching 5000 Tim!!! One thing I can say for sure though. We can ALWAYS count on you to welcome new members here and you go out of your way to make them feel at home. To me that says a LOT.

Welcome to the forums.....ah, wrong message....sorry GTL! Well, you know what I mean! You have been a faithful member regardless of storms and calms that have washed over the 3CF.

We're still standing strong because of dedicated and helpful members like you who have remained strong and steady. My most memorable threads/posts from you have to do with (of course) the "Make our own Build Sequence for Heritage Editions" and the day you discovered and came up with the fix for the noise that sounded like 'rocks' in the engine compartment!

Thanks for 'singing' Happy Birthday to so many members as well! I look forward to your next 5,000 posts as well. Hope to meet you someday in person.

Monster? Monger maybe.. Naw.... just call me Goofy! LOL

Thanks for the kind words... hope to have some more HOW TOs at some point in the future.

Seems like the "rush" of Heritiage Editions registerees, never really took off for the '07s around here. Given the way DCX changed the model (green stuff inside) and then the further CLLC degradation (IMO) for '08... I'm not too surprised I suppose.
