Looks like Hong Kong, there aren't too many roads where you can drive fast there, unless you're in the outskirts of Kowloon New Territories. But still minibuses and taxis are all over the road, not following any rules and will severely limit the ability to drive fast.

I don't think it was in Asia. Notice that the police vehicle and tow truck writing is in English.

Look at the lettering on the back of the tow truck. Its in Asian.

I also don't get why they're towing it like that. Good way to destroy the transfer case. Should be on a flatbed.

I base my guess on Hong Kong by the color scheme of the taxis and the minibuses. And by the looks of the identical high rise apt buildings. In Hong Kong, Taiwan, many parts of PROC, in Japan and in Korea signs on many things including shops, buses, taxis, etc are in both ideographic and Roman script.

I recko you are right Rick, Hong Kong. I thought Singapore then noticed the hill in the background so that ruled out Singapore.

It was obviously a reasonable hit for the airbags to have fired. I was thinking the cabin was still in original shape as the windscreen does not appear to have been cracked but is there a bend where the "A" pillar meets the roof?

Where is this hill that you guys are referring too? Could you possibly be referring to the highrises in the background of the first picture that appear to be behind a heavy cloud of smog?

Same region of the same photo, but behind those building, there is a hill. It's light enough that it may not show up on your screen if your gamma is too high.
