Question Who Does Not Like Music? (moved)

I was having a conversation with someone the other day and they told me that their friend doesn't like music.......WTF
Honestly I heard this before from some one and I felt like smacking the guy upside the head......
How can someone not like music? I can understand not liking a genre, although I at least like a song from every genre , but just not liking music? Is this person an alien? Am I wrong to want to smack them? Is this even real or an attention thing? They actually said that they didn't want a ride from a friend cause she "listens to music, and I don't like music" ........It just makes no sense....
I can relate music to so many good times, bad times , etc. in my life and on a scale of 1 to 10 I need music!

Someone help me make sense of this......please....It does not compute.

I would put myself in the catagory of not liking music in a sense.

I mean I like it. Listened to it all the time as a teenager and young man, but 80% of the time when Im in my car I will listen to sports talk radio instead of playing music.

I go in spurts though. Letely Ive been listening to music quite often, but its not uncommon for me to go a few months with never putting a CD in my CD player.

I NEVER listen to music at home. I cant even recall the last time I played music at home.

But I do like music. I just dont listen to music a lot if that makes any sense.
