Thoughts on CTS-V 2009 model?

Love the interior.

Love the power.

Probably will be at least $70k though. Should slaughter M3, RS4, C63, etc.

Wow!

one thought... WOW!

Beautiful specs, but I am not a fan of the new style body. One ass kicking car, though.

In the fine print, Caddy is promising software for the Stability control will include actual race developed stuff from their racing efforts. This car will kick anything for the money.

I like it, and when it is 30-35k in a couple of years used, I really, really, really like it.

I noticed that the CTS-V tips the scales at 4300 lbs in automatic form. That seems awfully heavy for a mid size sedan. Hell, it's even heavier than our full size pig SRT-8s. They're gonna need the extra supercharger juice to think about keeping up with the M5 & E63 at that kind of weight. I wonder how GM is making the ZR-1 over 1000 lbs lighter with pretty much the same drivetrain and many similar parts.

Love the interior.

Love the power.

Hate the exterior.

Probably will be at least $70k though. $70k too much.

550HP with a supercharger? Yawn,,,,,,,,. SRT 8 with a supercharger = 600+ HP and a 30K savings.
