I clipped this from an e-mail from a friend of mine that is trying to convince me of the merits of sail boats. I have to admit, its pretty persuasive:

Then there's the evenings. Leave the dock in the afternoon, watch the sunset & the moon rise and hear nothing but water on the hull. Moonlight on the water, the tiller in one hand, a cold beer in the other and someone you love giving you h**d.

I've always felt that drinking on the water is a bad idea (and you can be slapped with being under the unfluence while in charge of a vehicle...I think, I know you can if it's motorized).
