Were you forced at gunpoint to purchase a Chrysler 300C? If so, then I am sorry to hear about the ordeal. If not, and you purposely made the choice to buy a 300C then you should be able to afford the fuel for it.

I'm sorry, sure the price of fuel hurts, but it's a reality and it's not going to change. A dollar a gallon is gone and two dollars a gallon is gone.. We are not going to see it again.

I can afford it, at this point and I am not changing my lifestyle because of it nor am I posting about it.

I don't think Desiree was getting up on the soap box and complaining about gas prices and how much it cost every time you go to the pump. I rather enjoyed those pictures because I hadn't seen those exact ones yet. Maybe I'll take the one that shows $45 for a full tank a gas and install it behind my fuel gage in my car.

Lighten up and don't be jumping all over someone for posting some funny pictures. If Desiree said "Why is gas so much, I hate driving my car because I can barely afford the gas." Then that's different. I mean both of you are from PA, you should be united, and pick on the people from Canada.

Trust me that wasn't me picking on someone, I try not to pick on people because I don't want to get banned.. That was just me stating the obvious, and no amount of us bellyaching over it will change it. I just decided a long time ago.. that's life... It costs me $300 to fill my boat... I will still go boating... If I couldn't afford it, I wouldn't have a boat.. Likewise if I couldn't afford my 300C I would have a Chevy Aveo (Ok, probably not!)

It's all good... And I did see all those photos, I beleive I got them in an email when gas was $2.30 a gallon, along with the "stop the hose job" magnet for on your car.

$45 for a full tank would be a sweet deal out here in California! I just dropped $58 at the pumps on my base. $63 at a Chevron in Stockton yesterday lol.

Not ever did the cost of fuel influence my purchase of any automobile. I also own and drive a supercharged Mustang that gets 15 MPG and a 1950 Ford that gets about 12 MPG (both of which are awaiting good weather with tanks full of $2.50/gallon 93 octane from last Fall), and do not hesitate to fill them up and hit the road.
As for the C, since I retired and cut way back on highway driving, my around-town mileage is running around 18 MPG, and with a Predator tune I don't spare the throttle.
As the title says it's not so funny anymore. And it's not just the price of gas, but the price of everything else is being effected as well.

Jeez, what is this, pick on Canada Day...haha. You guys really do need to get at all that oil in the shale in whatever state has enough for the next 100 years.

Hey, and stop growing friggin' corn for nasty bio fuel too. No one's growing wheat anymore. My dough ain't makin' any dough these days with flour up 250% and climbing. I thought they were supposed to be looking at using waste and human crap from water purification plants. Crappy eh...haha!!!

UK fuel price is now £1.12 per ltr or about $2.22 per ltr.

US gall at UK prices would be $8.40. Diesel is even more expensive
