Just got rear-ended in my bike!!

2 months old and i get rear ended in my bike, happened about two hours ago. The stupid f***ker speed up in the yellow and was going too fast to stop or slow down as i made a right turn into the gas station IN FRONT OF MY WORK PLACE. He hit me from behind & i flew in the air and landed about 10 feet in front of my bike.......good thing is that the only injury is my buried arm and thigh.

i'll try to get the pic from my phone

All I'll say is good on you for wearing appropriate protective gear. If you hadn't we'd certainly be hearing some gory stories right about now.

I feel for you, I had the same thing happen to me, just sitting at the light and bam. totaled the bike, but as for me, lucky only road rash. Glad your okay. It was my first bike and I hadn't even made the first payment. That was 12 years ago and I just started riding again 2 years ago.

Hi Flossin,
Sorry to hear about the incident involving you and your cycle. That's what scares me so much about motorcycle riders....other's not paying attention to them.

I'm glad your injuries were not greater than what you described. Hopefully, that person who hit you has insurance that will take care of your medical bills as well as the damages to your new bike. Sometimes, I don't think Fresno is very kind to motorcycle riders.

And, I couldn't help but remember those words in your original motorcycle post....

Hope your mom didn't have a panic attack over your accident, lol!

Gosh flossin! That car just about swallowed up your cycle.
I hate to say it but I'm glad you were tossed forward so that you didn't end up minced meat under that car like you bike!

Glad to hear your mom didn't beat up too badly on you!

Take extra care of yourself.
