Road trip to CO... looking for stops to greet along the way

I'll be driving the MSRT8 on a quick trip to the Denver, CO area for a nephew's high school graduation that occurs on Tues., June 3.

I'll start out on Sat., May 31. Can go either I64 across KY, or I70 through Indy. I need to get to St. Louis at least by nightfall. I hope to stay with some friends in O'Fallon, MO Sat. night. Otherwise, I'm likely to keep going on to KC.

So I'm looking for lunch mates in either Louisville or Indy on Sat., and possible dinner mates in St. Louis Sat. night.

On Sunday, May 31, I'll head out from wherever to finish in Denver... so... there could be brunch/lunch possibilities in KC area (if I stay in O'Fallon) and dinner possibilities in my old stomping grounds of Salina, KS on Sunday night... or somewhere further west out in the boonies.

I'll start the return trip on Wed. morning June 4, and make KC area by nightfall. Hope to actually stop in the small town I grew up in (Marquette, KS) SE of Salina on this leg.

Again on Thurs., June 5, I could have lunch in St. Louis area and dinner in Indy or Louisville (might go the other way of whichever way I go out).

Would love to see some/as many of you along the way if possible... either to cruise the road together for as long as you can linger... or meet up around some eats.

Nobody in Indy or St. Louis areas up for a lunch time (or so), or early evening somewhat brief mini-M&G on Sat., May 31st? Or visa versa on June 5?

No one around Louisville with interest that I go that way?

If you happen to head a little higher north and take 80 out to Denver, I would certainly love to meet up with you! The only bad thing is I am about 2 1/2 hrs NORTH of Kansas City..

I might consider it Bob, but only IF I decide to head to Chicago on the way back to see son, D-I-L and granddaughter, Alivia. But if I did that I think my wife would kill me, since she's staying home! HA.
