When they get the range up to 400-450 miles and the recharge cycle 15 min, then I might be interested... oh, and the cost down to $35k or so... until then Leno and his super-rich car collectors will be the only ones takin' them for a spin.

Tim,

How much range are you getting from your 300? Uhh yeah...

212 mile range, 3.5 hour charge is a reality and that is something that ANY of us could live with day to day. The sports car platform isn't for everyone though, nor is the price and in that respect we agree. We do need to see a four door or four seat coupe in the 30K range.

At 40K I'd order a Tesla tomorrow.. Not because I want to save the planet, just because the damn thing is fast!
