There is a wealth of information out there on this topic. Google can be an amazing tool, you just have to know how to sort through what is truth and what is twisted and spun in a different direction by the media and special interest groups.

Nope still only have the one. Other 3 will be here tomorrow.

And you'll never believe what happened.. I went to put the wheel inside the garage because it started to rain, and as I opened the door the rim fell face first onto my walk way causing a scuff in the paint.. see the left side of the rim:

I almost cried..

From the middle east, it takes 6-8 weeks from well head to refinery to cargo-ship to the US ready for sale.

From Canada and Mexico, 2-3 weeks depending on if its coming from pipeline or tanker. (pipeline is much quicker)

11 trillion barrels came from the very companies who want to drill domestically. Theses are the people who study oil levels in different locations in the earth for a living. Believe me, i dont go by everything Bush says... But this time he's right.
Bush is a joke and you thinking it will take months to get oil out of offshore locations and into the market in months is a joke.

I'm for drill everywhere and now! 1) With the immediate passage of the bill you would see the oil prices drop soon. 2) The oil company's could beat the 10 year development pushed by the opponents. Just think if we would have started this 20 years ago. 3) This would help give us time to get alternative energy sources going which will take at least as much time. 4) We need this oil independence for our security. 5) China is going to drill here anyway...lets beat them to the punch. 6) These rigs would be so far out that most people wouldn't be able to see them anyway and we had no leaks during Katrina so it could be done safely. The wild life would flourish in ANWAR and Alaska wants to do it! It has nothing to do with Bush or McCain...it's the intellegent thing to do. I think anyone who is not for this should have their electricity, and gas turned off to save if for us that have common sense!

Again, i am willing to debate the issue with anyone as long as it is done in a respectful way. So please, if you cant do that, i ask you no longer post on the subject.
This has nothing to do with Bush. Although i haven't always agreed with everything Bush has done in office, I do have to commend him this time for being a powerful voice that is trying to come up with real solutions to our countries energy problems.
