You can't judge all Best Westerns the same. Best Western allows each local hotel to have a LOT of control over how they want their hotel to be. Some are total trash, and then there is one that's a 4-star hotel (I forget which city).

Oddly enough, Hilton is known to be a safe bet for cleanliness in the industry. Marriott too, though that can depend on how recently Bill Marriott visited.

IIkings, I mentioned this thread to my wife last night and she remembered it was the Best Western at Painted Post, which I think is NY state but could be Pennsylvania.

We pity the people who sat next in the 747 seats, because that was where my wife broke out in itchy spots which was the first symptom, some days later. Mine showed up about 24 hours later. That is the problem with that type of parasite, you don't know you have it and you are spreading it around.

We are very clean individuals BTW

H57, I don't think spraying with Lysol will kill scabies either. I like the big plastic bag even more.

Time to buy the “extra large” yard sized plastic bags. The scabies stories just made my skin crawl and my broken foot twitch! OUCH!

Glad I won't be travelling this summer!
