Question What's Your Story?? The UserName Game...

Okay, I've wondered about this for quite some time....
There are some very unusual, and intriguing usernames that have been created by the members here and I've often wondered what the meaning is behind some of them
-- So let's hear it, what's your story?

Mine has a double meaning:
I loved the commercial with the dad that asked his kid "can you say hemi?" and the way the little guy s-l-o-w-l-y drags out the word.
But, my username is also my lic. plate, preceeded by a heart, indicating love, HE for MEEE (3 E's) to have 'sacrificed' his BMW so she could have her latest heart's desire.
What a guy (p.s. no regrets on his part either! )

My username is pretty simple. I have owned my 1985 Jeep CJ-7 for over 13 years
now, and I also have a 1986 Honda VFR750 Interceptor that I have also owned for
over 14 years.

I just combined them together, and got CJ7VFR!

I have owned other cars along the way, but I have never kept any of
them as long as I have kept these two vehicles. I love them more than
any other car/motorcycle I have ever owned.

My CJ-7 will be with me until the day it can literally not move anymore!

Not as nice a story as yours HEMEEE...

Jim

Close; but, its not my favorite number (I'm one of those wierd people that don't have a favorite color much less a favorite number). Other than that, your reply is right on track.

I love quotes and I am always looking at sources to quote, I am also a Christian who studies the bible that has an unlimited supply of quotes.

"And the watchman told, for the driving is like the driving of Jehu son of Nimshi, for he driveth furiously" Need I say more? II Kings 9:20, King James version

OK, well this could be long. In the mid 80's I was an instructor in the military. I had a course in the field to teach them basic field ops under tactical conditions and operational deployment. These were young people just out of basic training and now on trade training. It was a mixed course of males & females ranging in age from 17 - 20+. The course was meant to teach them how to live & operate in the field and introduce them to the sounds & sights of war. We used the usual stuff like blank ammo, thunder flashes, smoke & artillery simulators (arty sims) to simulate the sounds of war as much as possible. The arty sims are especially pleasing to use because they give off a whistle before exploding with a hugh bang. There's a 1/4 lb of TNT in them and they're a "blast" to use.

One of the females had smuggled a stuffed rabbit to sleep with, as if we were going to let them sleep! Well, I couldn't have any of that so I took the little pink bugger and painted him up with cam stick and added a bandana. After I cammed him up I couldn't help but think he looked pretty gung ho to me so I named him Rambit, as in Rambo and he was a rabbit. I took an arty sim and wrapped it around Rambit using gun tape and pulled the cord. Well let me tell you, he blew up REAL good. Parts of him ended up in the trees and there was "guts" everywhere. It got a good laugh too. I also drive a Dodge Ram so I figured it too would go well with the name. I guess it wasn't that long afterall.
