Saw one the other day. Looks tough, but to me not appealing. I don't like the "smirk" front end.

If it was a six speed, he'd probably have had me with his 426 hp.

If it was an automatic, with 400 hp, my 450-460 hp might make him a wee bit uncomfortable - or even beat him.

The Camaro's a superior value for the money, but not my cup of tea. I could have bought a 'vette, but not this old fart's cup of tea either. Big 4 door sedan + superb comfort + kick ass Hemi power + excellent handling + superior brakes - yeah, that's my cup of tea. I can tool around like Grandpa Moses, or stand on it and lay several hundred feet of smoke.

I don't need to LOOK macho anymore - in a 300C SRT8 I am macho (queue ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man").

BTW, the older dude (about my age) driving the SS smiled and nodded to me. I think he knew what an SRT8 was.

But then, maybe just my vain perception.

I just got this months issue of motortrend, and the Camaro Z28 is a go:

Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is GO! - Motor Trend

It will have the 556 hp 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V-8, but the Z28 camaro will weigh 300 lbs. less than the CTS-V. Sounds pretty sweet to me!
