Fall Colors - Show your pix!

Woke up yesterday to a beautiful sunrise and a little later was absolutely stunned by the color of a maple tree in the corner of our back yard. I don't think it has been this brilliant in a long... long... time. This is exactly the way it was captured by my iPhone... no color adjustments, etc.

If you've got some fall color pix, please share in this thread... whether or not in includes your ride. I just love this time of year.

Beautiful! I love it when trees look like they are on fire or glittery like gold. Sorry, Goofy, but I need to wait until later in November to get pics like yours! I could post up some last year, though.

Just so Bruno can see what he is missing with this thing we call "seasons" over here.

Wish I had my camera when driving down to Circleville this week (the reason why I missed you Tuesday, Tim). I think you're right - I can't remember that last time it's been this colorful. Well, here's a couple from my other thread that do have a little color, albeit dulled by rain...

Who wants it to be sunny and 75 all year round anyways?? OK, I take that question back.

Ha! Living in Central Cali, I do get to experience 'winter' but it's normally mild except when interesting storms coming off the Sierra Nevada mountain range behind my home and create interesting weather conditions.

That is a very nice fall background for your car.

I don't think you are allowed to even say the word 'winter' - with or without quotes.

My family has a vineyard in Paso Robles and they are always complaining about 'winter'.

And thanks - that's the park right next to my house. There are some good angles that I want to take some pics from there, but there always seems to be some cars in the way. I might have to drive into the middle of the park one of these sunny days to get some good fall pics.
