Who whould have ever thought that in just a little bit of time Kings thread here would be outdated by his $ estimate???????

If the current oil prices are not a scam of a lifetime than show me what is. Yeah, gas stations are out of gas everywhere and things changed so much that oil went from $60 to $144 a barrel in just two years. Give me a f'n break.

I go to the gas station today and there was like three people getting gas with a station that has over 15 hoses. I have yet to see a station without gas or any shortage whatsoever.

I'd like to save the natural gas and Propane for house heating and industrial use. If we use natural gas to generate power it will keep going up. I think coal, nuclear and hydro are the best candidates for generating electric.......

VOte in McWalkingCane, he'll bomb Iran, and watch oil go to $400/barrel and gas $15/gal.

Why not?

If Bush can make oil go from $28/barrel to $143, gas at $2.19 to $4.25+, why wouldn't McWalkingCane who WANTS to bomb Iran, who has the 2nd largest oil reserve behind Saudi Arabia!

ANd of course, we'll go to war w/Russia and China b/c they trade w/Iran on a daily basis.

Keep voting Republican; b/c the world is so much better off!

War with China is inevitable as they become more resource hungry and will surpass us in their thirst for oil and beyond. The only reason we arent already at war is we have a huge trade industry with them.

Teahead, I guess you would rather have a terrorist unload a nuke in Seattle than us trying to keep Iran at bay. It's just another wacko idea you libs have. Not to be personal but there must be something in the water. It will be Iran that makes the choice whether the US or Israel has to bomb them. I think our trade with China is a good thing. If you really want to help the oil price get your buddy Reid to vote for drilling for some more oil in the states. The dems and a few of the repubs are trying to choke this country to death by not allowing more exploration. I just don't understand the logic of strapping the country down and hurting the middle and lower classes of people here....me included!!!!!!!

This is scary but likely to happen. Emerging nations are going to compete with us for limited oil. China will drill on our doorstep if we roll over and let them!

They count on the peaceniks to allow them to stomp all over us.

In what way has Iran indicated itself to be any threat to the US? Also, if you think war with Iraq has gone poorly, remember that Iran has a military that won't disband as soon as attacked, a people who don't feel like they're under the thumb of a tyrant, submarines, short range ballistic missiles, submarines, a sizeable airforce, is surrounded by mountains, and has China and Russia for friends (all things Iraq didn't have).

Iran is the home base for the terrorist. If it wasn't for Iran the rebuild of Iraq would be over. Ineedajob already has said he will destroy the infidels as soon as he is able. What else do you need? Rumor has it that most of the people in Iran want the western world life so we might do them a favor by taking out or weakening their government. Our best course of action is to drill for our own oil so we don't need to do so much hand holding in the middle east. I know with the yellow backs in Washington Israel will end up doing our dirty work!!!!!!The war in Iraq has gone poorly because the meat heads in Washington has tied the military hands. This country at present is eat up with political locks that keep this country from going forward. Until the people get fed up enough to kick the wackos out we are doomed.....Obama is not the answer!!!!!!for sure!!!!!!
