I went out and ran it in this afternoon, 34 miles, a couple 2nd gear barks, ran it up and down in RPMs, I can definitely feel that brake programming upgrade where the calipers push the pads out anticipating braking, this thing handles really well, torque - it just stands up when you floor it, attention and onlookers, there's a shitload of electronics to learn, definitely need to get an intake and some exhaust work done. The slowest thing about this car is my shifting at this point LOL
I had a friend order some 2.75 piping to cut the resonaters out, we'll see how that does. We are going to re-use the stock tips. Eventually I will probably get the Corsa but it's a lot of $$$ and I'm curious to see how the car will sound without resonaters.

Eric, I love the no stripes, absolutely perfect, good luck with it.
I did the same thing in '78 when I ordered one of those Trans-ams of the time and deleted the bird from the hood.
I will need to come on down sometime and go to the track with you, now that you can participate. You let me know when they are having one of those car shows again, and I will be there.

For sure David, are you still working a lot down in the southeast? Been another HOT summer
While we definitely will go to the track and play, I don't plan on being a track rat with the car. I considered the automatic for that reason, but the 6-speed is just too much fun!
Hey Eric! I don't know how I missed this news. Congrats on your new Challenger SRT8. It looks awesome. How do you like it so far? Have you taken it to the track or made any mods yet?
Thanks guys, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this thing! It's even fun to clean, something I find myself doing a lot
It's all stock except I did delete the exhaust resonaters, sounds great but it does drone. I ordered a catch can, and I hope to do an intake/tune/catback in the spring.
I almost made it to a track day this fall but my schedule was not friendly so I will have to wait until the spring. It's hard to guess what it will run, people on the Challenger forum are all over the place with times for the 6 speed, seems to be a full half second slower than the auto though...hard to believe but the track doesn't lie. The 392 and automatic are just a perfect combo I guess.
Practice, my man, practice. There's an 11 in that car IMO. But you're going to really have to master the launch and that is tricky with a table flat torque curve and limited traction!
The 392 is such a grin-inducer. Fantastic motor, great cars.
