Looks like a conglomeration of several cars. I'm with denthird on those tail lights. Performance wise it is supposed to be pretty nasty with a huge wide torque zone. But unless it looks a lot better in person-not too impressed

I agree with that, Bob! Looks like the General designed it by committee - "throw in some Ferrari lines; some Viper stuff, bits and pieces from the GTR" . . . etc.
Wonder how it will go over in the 'Vette community?
Well in the latest shootout in Car and driver the Viper lost. But the new Viper is a real car now and not at all like the original.
The new Vette looks good except for the coporate ass, that's the low point. But technically it will be a monster. Lighter than ever with more power and better fuel mileage.
No downside!

Well the Viper lost to the out of production ZR1, not exactly just any old vette.
This new one...I agree the taillights do not look good, the rest is acceptable in the looks department but not striking like the new Viper is.

Should weigh around 3300 lbs. Slightly more than the current C6. 450 HP LT1 is the base engine. The has been no mention of the higher performance Z06 and ZR1. They will likely not be available in 2014 because of the new engine design. The Z51 performance suspension has been listed as being available. Personally, I'm not that fond of it, especially the Camaro like rear end.
