Huh? I hope the "fallen state" you speak of is in fact our disregard for the concept of Global Warming.

MctSRT: My best wishes are with you.

I'm so happy that the worst has passed and that you're well.

In Florida we lost power for a week at a time after Hurricane Jeanne and Hurricane Wilma. The new construction houses were fine, but the above ground electrical poles took a beating.

Are the waterways going to be open and accessable soon?

i still have no idea whats goingon outside the house, we r stuck in our houses since yesterda, but due to the radio and the local analog land tv channel, the roads r 99% clear of ppl, no one is out, and i just knew that in my city, only my neighbourhood has elecrecity, the other places r still with no power since the morning. the cyclone is still in Muscat, and its moving north, but we will still have thunderstorms n rains for the next couple of day. we r just waiting for the cyclone to leave this area so we can go out and take pictures.

thanx to god, until now there r no loss in souls. but as i heared many villages and houses in the east coast where the cyclone stroke first got damged big time.

As of 10 AM EDT Wednesday, Gonu has been downgraded to a Category 1 Cyclone, and is now moving north into Iran. There have been no reported fatalities.

It has shut down the Strait of Hormuz to shipping for the last 48 hours. The Strait is expected to be open for navigation by 12:01 AM Thurday EDT.

Oil is $65.83 up 22 cents
