whats up all, every thing is quite now, roads r coverd with MUD, some of the main roads r brokeeeeen,electricity is back scince 1 hour, but no watar,thank god it GONO was at SEA, other wise it would have been a very big messsss.

Cyclone Gonu waned into a storm as it passed into a major oil shipping route toward Iran on Thursday, but killed 28 people and left a trail of destruction that halted Oman's oil and gas exports for a third day.

the cyclone is gone now, but it left us a huge mark. Date of Strike on Oman's Coasts: 05/06/07. Economic Damages: unknown yet. Locations: Sharqeya East Coast, Ras Al Had, Masirah Island, Al Halaneyat Islands, Muscat, Batinah Coasts, Gulf of Oman, Musandam, Buraimi, Fujairah-UAE, Iran South Coast. Strike Wind Speed: 260KM/H. Human Loss: 56 Persons in Muscat. Missing: 25 Persons. Muscat During the Strike: City of Ghosts. Cities Conditions Now 8/6/2007: Many with no electricity, no water supply, bad mobile network, alot of dark streets & neighbourhoods, bad road conditions, ...etc. Pictures from some of Muscat cities, could not reach the remaining damaged cities because of the bad conditions of the ways n roads ,and the running strong wadies n rivers.
