At the dealer

I ordered my car in November, the car has been built and now it is in “At Dealer” status in the States (According to ENCS.com). The car is supposed to ship no later than May 6th to a port in Germany (3 week boat ride). I expect to receive the car 1st or 2nd week of June.

My questions… how do they store the car at the dealer? Do they keep it wrapped up? Is it out in a parking lot just sitting? Or is the dealer allowing the car to be abused in joy rides/test drives?

No cars here are wrapped up...at best you see cars on transport trucks/trains with some plastic sheet material on the upper surfaces. The car will be sitting in some kind of lot...fact of life.

As for joy rides, etc., that depends on the dealer.

how much you pay for this silver 300C? it is strange you Guy like USA car so much, why not BMW?

everymonth, there are 3-4 sets of 300c arrive at Xingang port, all in black, price is approx USD73,000, offered by dealer, one of friend is willing to fix one this month.

within this price range, he can choose:
Honda Legend 3.5 liter, or Nissan Fuga or Toyota Crown.

we told him had better boycotte Japanese car, specially for such a big sum.

how about your firebird '94? I had a Camaro Z28 '93, also 5.7 L , it is 4-auto trans. many parts of these 2 cars are the same.

My Camazro is good but by now, it is fare old and can not win Subaru or EVO VII in street, in fact, I repaired the auto trans box last week and it took me USD1200.
