That's a very good question! Of course, you're welcome to be a part of any regional area. I would say "Yes"! The other closest forum to Montana might be the Mid-West and that group seems to be much further east of your state.
Montana is a huge, beautiful state. I say "Welcome to the Pacific NorthWest! Heck. some members think California should have it's own regional forum like it does in another similar forum.
By any chance, are you coming to the Spring Festival?

Still in Illinois but moving to Montana this May. Ironically, my wife is from Irvine but we are expecting our first on May 22nd so car gatherings are low on the "to do" list Starved Rock M & G (IL) in April is a possibility but time shall tell...
Well I'm about 65 miles from the Montana state line and I'm in the Northwest so I'd say Montana is too! At least western montana....... Maybe not "Pacific" Northwest; how bout "inland Northwest?".
I used to overnight in Shelby on a regular basis... the trip from G.F. to Helena can be some of the most spectacular scenery around... the colour of the missouri river almost looks artificial...

Welcome Future neighbor! from Coeur d' alene, Idaho!
My son is in the Air Force in Spokane 30 miles or so away from you. He said it's beautiful. I'll be making a trip from Wyoming in my new 300C to see him.

This little sliver of northern Idaho between Montana and Washington is among the most beautiful places I've ever seen, although it has changed a lot with the influx of people over the last 10 years. Still awesome though. Spokane not so much.... and west of Spokane where the A/F base is, trees and mountains are fading into desert and weeds.......
Make sure to tell your son thanks for his service!
