LXForums.com member Jaak, from Ontario Canada, has come over to the Great NorthWet for business so we got a small group together to talk cars, do a meet & greet and have some good food. Many thanks to LowGo for bringing this together.

We had a great time and it was nice to meet everyone who resides on the forums. We'll have another event soon, I'm sure!

I'm surprised at how many people don't remember or know that the NW of the US is "higher" that the rest of the country... except the little finger of MN that sticks "up"...

Yeah, Tim...Jaak kept reminding us that we should "come down" and see him! Everyone looked confused but then when he explained the latitude of Toronto, they understood.

I can't take credit for organizing this one...LowGo did all the work as I was engaged with planning our big picnic for July. I was just one of the attendees. But there was no way I was going to miss it!!! We had a great time and it was nice to meet everyone who came. Most of the folks who attended were meeting each other for the first time and that's a fun thing to participate in.

And you most certainly are welcome to come on "down" and see us, too! Just let us know and we'll put on a Meet & Greet!

We had a great time. It was the first Meet & Greet of any real size here. Looks like we are finally getting things off the ground. More are planned so Stay Tuned....
